This Week's WCW!!

This weeks #WCW is the beautiful Emma Watson! My family and I have been in a "Harry Potter movie marathon" type of mood recently and I was taken back to a time where I envied Emma Watson for things like standing up for the boys in the movie rather than them stand up for her, or her punching Draco for being mean. I always admired Hermione for being the smartest and the bravest and she was someone I looked up to when I was younger. Fast forward a few years when I finally began admiring Emma for Emma. Emma stood in front of the United Nations and spoke about something she was passionate about. I must have watched her he for she speech about 100 times. Emma calls herself a feminist in front of the world and is proud. Emma calls out for help, because she knows she can't do it alone. But she didn't even stop there. Emma started a book club, a feminist book club, where she shares a book she is reading about women empowerment or about strong women who inspire her. She is using this book club to help girls and boys both read about what we are really fighting for. Emma used her position and her fame to bring awareness to something she feels so strongly on. Not to mention after filming 8 Harry Potter movies, she went back to school and got a degree at Brown in Rhode Island for English Literature. It took her 5 years to graduate but she did it. Emma inspires me to be strong and speak my mind and fight for what I want everyday. GRLPWR was started, with the intent to educate and empower girls all over the world; the way Emma has.
