#WCW- Sophia Amoruso

This weeks Women Crush Wednesday is the CEO of Nasty Gal and the writer of #Girlboss, Sophia Amoruso. Although I haven’t read #Girlboss its on its way thanks to Amazon Prime. However, I don’t need to read the book to know that Ms.Amoruso is a bad ass. She started Nasty Gal by selling stolen items on eBay and Myspace for gods sake. She is all that I want to be in a business women. She created an empire of her own. One that has made her worth $250 million and the company worth over $130 million itself. At just 31 years old, she has accomplished so much.

GRLPWR was made in the minds of two teenaged girls who want nothing more than to create an empire of their own inspiring women. Sophia Amoruso is THE icon for someone like me and Reagan because it just proves that the work is worth it and that no idea is too small.

I think there is a “Nasty Gal” in us all. Sophia describes one as an “empowering, cool, and girls just doing cool things,” which is essentially what we here at GRLPWR are trying to do.
