14 WAYS TO TREAT YOURSELF ON VALENTINE’S DAY
2016 in its entirety has become the year where my main focus is myself. And honestly, getting to know myself better, coming to terms with my flaws, and loving every inch of my body has been one of the best decisions I could make. This year, and this valentine’s day, you should do the same. Self-love is key, and what better way to do that then having a date with the most important person in your life: you! No boo, no problem.
Slip into your finest ball gown, pull on some satin gloves, and order out. Who says you can’t look good while eating pizza?
Send yourself a couple dozen roses (or whichever flower you prefer).
Find a bottle of champagne. Toast yourself.
Treat yourself to some online shopping, buy that shirt you’ve been wanting for weeks. Don’t worry about the expense! When’s the last time you bought some things for yourself?
Hire a male butler to hand feed you chocolates. (May be a little unrealistic, but why not.)
Light some candles, bust out some bubble bath, play some music. Man, you are such a romantic.
Go out and get yourself a massage. Spa day maybe?
Turn your living room into a giant pit of blankets and pillows, then start a new show on netflix. You deserve a day in.
Literally treat yourself, if you’re picking up what I’m putting down.
Online shopping part two: buy yourself all that expensive makeup you’ve been drooling over. That Naked Urban Decay pallette, Kylie Jenner’s new lip color line, anastasia brow dip… Get. It. All.
Two words: face mask.
Buy yourself some sift cupcakes, or make yourself some. All those sweets you’ve been craving? Eat them.
WAFFLES.
Lastly, take time to watch the sunset. Maybe set up a hammock in your backyard and lounge around there. See something that’s almost as beautiful as you. REMEMBER TO LOVE YOURSELF. ♡
