2016 started off with the 90's influence we saw gaining popularity rather quickly in 2015. The skin tight, glued to your leg-jean trend is coming to an end, and moms all around are having feelings of nostalgia. On that note, here are some tips to channel your inner Winona Ryder:

1. DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE MEN'S SECTION!!!

Even though mom jeans are becoming the norm in department stores, it could still be trouble to find the right ones. Goodwill is usually the home of all the jeans people thought would never make a comeback. Baggy jeans already give off a menswear look, so if you're desperately looking to get the look, you actually have to look around.

2. OVERDOING IT

Wearing jeans that come up to your ribcage is already eyecatching, don't pair it with something to eclectic that takes the attention away. Instead, go for a simple silk button up or cotton tee to complete the look.

3. ANY SHOE WILL DO

That's right, picking out shoes has never been so easy with mom jeans. Want to go for a chunky leather boot? Go for it. Want to dress it down with some classic Birkenstocks? Go for it. Heels?Yes.

4. CUFFING YOUR JEANS

Going for a strong look to bring attention to your shoes can easily be done by simply cuffing the ends of the jeans. It's chic, classic, and you can't go wrong with it!

5. FAUX FUR

Whether you're roaming the streets of New York City, or going shopping in your hometown, styling up your jeans with a fur coat always makes a statement. It gives you the perfect penthouse millionaire look, for a cheap price. And if you're looking for something to give you that pop of pattern, look for a cheetah print coat!!
